"Helmet of Horror" is part of the international project "Myths," initiated by the British publisher Canongate: famous writers from around the world, such as Margaret Atwood, A. S. Byatt, Philip Pullman, Olga Tokarczuk, Michel Faber, Natsuo Kirino, Dubravka Ugrešić, and others, offered their modern versions of classical myths. The victims of the new Minotaur of the 21st century seek Ariadne's thread that helped Theseus find his way in the labyrinth. Drowning in a sea of information, lost in the endless chaos of internet chats, they are forced to obey the Helmet of Horror (read: Minotaur), which provided them with mysterious nicknames—but still try to find their way back to the real world...
