Alexander Stesin is a poet, prose writer, traveler, and oncologist, author of the books "Come Back and Take," "Dinner for Fire," and "Through Tea." His new book is a story about working in hospitals scattered across New York City. A city where many cultures coexist, and medical experience, sometimes extreme — all these are reasons to reflect on how fate brings together very different people and how conditional this difference becomes in the face of adversity and the desire to help each other.
